We are already one month into 2023, which means things are well under way for this new year! One of the most important aspects of the student-athlete pathway is time<\/span><\/strong> and ensuring that you have enough of it in order to be successful.<\/p>\n However, knowing if you have enough time, or when you should start this process, are two of the most frequent questions we receive. Therefore, it is important that intentional and rigorous<\/strong> involvement in your sport begins as early as possible.<\/p>\n Starting this process early will ensure that your agent can guide you into:<\/p>\n Coaches are going to look to award athletes with scholarships based on their perception of your talent, potential, and value in relation to their team specifically. This way you can keep them updated on your results, progress, team selections etc., so they can compare you to those athletes they are able to see in person.<\/p>\n Disclaimer: There are rules around how early a coach can contact you.
