We have asked KAA alumni how being a college student-athlete changed their lives, and there are several answers that we thought are worth sharing!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u00a01. Growth as an Athlete.<\/h3>\n

This first one might be the most obvious, but a very common answer was that the growth our athletes experienced in their sport was one of the most influential changes noticed by our athletes.<\/p>\n

Using world-class facilities, having a rigorous training schedule, full-time coaches and support staff, and top-tier competition is a recipe for exponential growth as an athlete.<\/p>\n

Many of our athletes have moved on to bigger and better things in their sporting careers after graduation. If this is a goal for you as an athlete, the U.S. pathway may be the way to go!<\/p>\n

2. Becoming a Graduate!<\/h3>\n

Now this may go without saying, but having a university degree is going to change your life in many different ways! Being able to finish with a degree from an esteemed university will impact your future employment opportunities to no end.<\/p>\n

Being a U.S. student-athlete means you are not only being treated like a professional athlete, but you will have the time to complete your degree within the typical timeline\u2026 no wasted papers or part-time study slowing you down!<\/p>\n

3. Networking<\/h3>\n

A surprising answer that we got from several athletes, was that the professional network that they created whilst being in the U.S. was one of the biggest life changers for them. This has led to several of our athletes\u2019 gaining jobs in their chosen profession right after graduation, some of who even stayed in the USA.<\/p>\n

4. Worldwide Airbnb\u2019s!<\/h3>\n

As a college athlete, you are going to find yourself among so many different athletes from all over the world. Better yet, these people will no doubt become some of your closest friends.<\/p>\n

All of our athletes mentioned that the most life-changing thing they got from this experience, was the friends that they made along the way. And what a bonus that they will be scattered all around the world after graduation\u2026 cheap Airbnb\u2019s if you ask us!!<\/p>\n

5. Life Experience<\/h3>\n

Leaving home and taking on life in another country has set our athletes on a successful pathway for whatever they may pursue next. Because of this, the fifth and final reoccurring theme from our KAA alumni was that the life experience that they got from being a student-athlete is like nothing they could have been offered anywhere else.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The life experience gained from being a student-athlete has given our athletes the confidence and the tools to succeed beyond the classroom and sports arena.\u00a0<\/p>\n
